Customer – IKEA Switzerland
On behalf of IKEA Switzerland and in close cooperation with IKEA Sweden, eventagentur.ch developed a location concept that can be adapted to any and all national trade fair appearances. At the same time, a media strategy was developed and implemented. Through close cooperation with the trade fair organizers, additional ad specials were also developed.
The challenge of this project was, on the one hand, that IKEA had no trade fair experience, even internationally. On the other hand, it was necessary to acquire and train employees to achieve qualitative consultation at the trade fairs. For capacity reasons, staff from IKEA Germany and Italy were also deployed.
The location concept is modularly constructed, has three communication levels, and matches an IKEA store in Switzerland at first – and second – glance. Visibility and tonality are the same as what visitors could expect from an IKEA store. Accordingly, the insides were also drafted and implemented with the planning department of IKEA Sweden. A true store for external trade fairs, so to speak.
